Bank of Industry Launches iDICE Startup Bridge Growth Lab

The Federal Government of Nigeria has opened applications for the iDICE Startup Bridge Growth Lab. Implemented by the Bank of Industry, this 12-week accelerator programme offers up to $350,000 in funding for 12 promising tech startups.

The initiative will select founders from all six geopolitical zones. It provides intensive business support, mentorship, and investment-readiness training to speed up early market traction.

Moving Post-MVP Founders from Validation to Scale

The Growth Lab builds directly on the previous Founders Lab phase, which helped idea-stage entrepreneurs refine early business concepts. This new accelerator targets tech-enabled startups that already have a Least Viable Product (MVP) and need a structured framework to scale operations.

To qualify, companies must have been operating for less than 12 months. They must also show strong market validation through active users, customer pilots, waitlists, or clear demand signals.

Equity Financing and Milestones Structure

The BoI iDICE Startup Bridge Growth Lab accelerator 2026 provides a clear financial roadmap. Selected companies receive a $100,000 upfront cash investment in exchange for 7.5% equity.

Startups can unlock up to $250,000 in more follow-on funding by meeting specific growth milestones. The Nigerian tech startups $350k funding application window opened on July 15, 2026, and will accept submissions through August 19, 2026. The program runs in a hybrid format, pairing remote workshops with two mandatory physical weeks in Lagos.
