The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has unveiled its NASENI Xceler8 accelerator program, offering up to $25,000 in support to 25 post-Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Nigerian startups.
Launched via the NASENI Innovation Hub in Abuja, the initiative targets science, engineering, and technology ventures looking to bridge the gap between laboratory prototypes and commercial markets.

The 3-month virtual program provides hands-on product development, weekly milestone evaluations, mentorship, and direct access to investors, concluding with a physical Demo Day in Abuja.
- Target Cohort: 25 Nigerian startups operating as registered business entities.
- Applicant Requirements: Founders aged 15–40 residing in Nigeria, with evidence of at least 5 completed paid transactions and a functional prototype or live commercial product.
- Priority Sectors: AgTech, Renewable Energy, FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech, and Advanced Manufacturing.
- Financial & Growth Support: Up to $25,000 in program support aimed at driving job creation, market expansion, and capital readiness.
- Key Dates: Applications opened on August 31 and close on September 30, 2026.
