SeamlessHR Rebrands to Seamless Technologies, Expands into AI and Fintech

Nigerian HR software company SeamlessHR has officially rebranded to Seamless Technologies, signaling a broader evolution into a comprehensive enterprise platform encompassing workforce operations, embedded financial services, and artificial intelligence.

The rebrand follows a $9 million Series A extension round secured in 2025 from the Gates Foundation and Helios Digital Ventures to support continental expansion. With this shift, the company aims to move beyond traditional HR systems to tackle wider operational challenges and boost financial inclusion across Africa.

Restructuring Under Three Business Verticals

Under the new corporate structure, Seamless Technologies will operate three core business arms designed to manage workplace and financial needs seamlessly:

  • SeamlessHR: The flagship workforce management and payroll platform designed for office-based enterprise teams.
  • Breeze: An embedded finance layer offering earned wage access, payroll financing, and personal financial tools integrated directly into the work stream.
  • SeamlessProcure: An enterprise procurement and vendor management tool built to streamline corporate purchasing.

Expanding Frontline Tools and AI Capabilities

Beyond its core verticals, the company introduced new features targeting frontline workforces and cross-platform automation:

  1. BWOP (Blue Collar Operations Platform): A specialized platform for shift-based and frontline workers, enabling organizations to digitize scheduling, attendance, workforce communications, and self-service capabilities outside typical office settings.
  2. Samira AI Layer: An intelligent automation layer running across all products to handle routine tasks, surface operational insights, and power worker interactions.

Redefining the Regional HR & Operations Market

By integrating embedded lending, frontline operational management, and procurement into its core payroll ecosystem, Seamless Technologies transitions from a standalone HR provider into a full-scale workplace operating system.
