Frontend Software Developer

A fintech startup committed to delivering secure and seamless financial services. We are seeking a highly experienced Frontend Developer to lead the development and optimization of our web and mobile frontends, ensuring pixel-perfect UI, excellent performance, and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Implement designs from Figma into production-ready code with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Optimize application performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Implement state management for complex applications using tools such as Redux, Context API, Zustand, or equivalent.

Integration & Collaboration

• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections into the frontend.
• Work closely with backend developers to define data structures and API contracts.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure usability and visual quality.
• Work with QA to identify and fix UI/UX issues before release.

Code Quality & Leadership

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Review code from other developers and mentor junior frontend engineers.
• Establish and maintain frontend coding standards and best practices.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure coding practices, particularly for fintech applications.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Languages & Frameworks: Expert in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js (or Next.js)
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS
• Experience with React Native or Flutter (mobile integration) is a strong plus.
• State Management: Redux, Context API, Zustand, or Recoil.
• API Integration: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSocket.
• Tooling: Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn.
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or equivalent.
• Version Control: Git (GitHub).
• Design Tools: Figma (design-to-code implementation).
• Performance Optimization: Lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies.
• Accessibility & Responsiveness: WCAG standards, mobile-first development.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 years professional experience in frontend development.
• Proven track record of delivering production-ready, high-performance frontend applications.
• Experience working on fintech or high-security platforms is an advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of SEO optimization for web applications.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
