The Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation (AACCF) and Data Science Nigeria trained 120 female students in AI and digital skills. The two-day AACCF SISI in TECH initiative took place at the Tech Talent Academy in Ijebu-Ode.
Students attended from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Tai Solarin University of Education, and Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences.
Boosting Digital Skills for Women
This program advances women in tech empowerment Nigeria by expanding access to tech education. AACCF Founder Adeola Azeez noted that AI training helps young women build active careers in Africa's tech sector. Microsoft executive Mrs. Ola Williams also spoke, encouraging women to help build fair, inclusive AI solutions.
Training and Hands-On Projects
This AI and digital skills training for women covered prompt engineering, AI tools, and data analytics careers. Wema Bank ran a financial literacy session, alongside goal-setting workshops.
The program ended with a Capstone Project Challenge. Teams created AI solutions for real-world problems. The winning team earned ₦200,000, and runners-up received cash prizes before all participants earned certificates.
