Youth Tech and Leadership Bootcamp Launches in Ondo State

The organization DevMe launched a seven-day residential training program in Akure, Ondo State. Sponsored by Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Hon. Adegboyega Ehindero, the initiative helps teenagers aged 13 to 19 build practical skills for modern careers.

Practical Skill Development and Selection

Participants learn digital literacy, leadership, personal development, and hands-on robotics. Out of nationwide applications from cities like Lagos and Kaduna, 100 students were selected for Creative and Science tracks.

Financial Support and On-Site Safety

The initiative offers strong rewards for top performers. The top two participants will each receive ₦2 million and a laptop, bringing total cash prizes to ₦4 million. Security throughout the camp is provided by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
